Horror corridor relit in warm amber light with a green-lit exit at the far end — Unreal Engine 5.6
Personal project

Lighting Study 03

The same corridor as Study 02, relit in real time in Unreal Engine 5.6 — amber decay and suspended time instead of red threat, with the green exit still anchoring the way out.

// Overview

Same corridor, different fear

Nothing moved — only the light. Where Study 02 pressed down with red threat, warm pendant lamps now bathe the corridor in amber: decay, abandonment, time suspended. 68% amber and black against the same green exit — the fear shifts from "something is here" to "something happened here".

// Colour palette

Thirty degrees from threat

Eight values, five roles — the same skeleton as Study 02 with the reds swapped for ambers: shadow #1A1200 up to lamp core #E8A020, decay mid #8B6A0A on the walls. The greens barely move (#1A3020 → #00A86B): the exit speaks the same language in both moods. Hue does the storytelling — 0° threatens, 30° mourns.

Two photographs set the brief: an abandoned kitchen where a single warm source fights the green, and an amber corridor collapsing into a green interior — decay with a way out.
